INT. NANA’S LIVING ROOM – DAY

“The living room is bathed in warm afternoon light filtering through sheer curtains. An array of plush sofas and eclectic decor gives the space a cozy, lived-in feel. Nana sits at one end of the room, and Tony takes a seat opposite her, the physical distance mirroring the emotional space between them. Suzzy is sandwiched in the middle, sensing the need to meditate.”

Suzzy (leaning forward, a playful smile on her lips): “Remember that college trip to Nakuru? Tony, you were so convinced you could outdrink everyone.”

Tony (laughing, the ice starting to break): “Oh, and I did… until that final shot. Woke up the next morning with my head in a flower pot.”

Nana (chuckling): “That flower pot was a gift from my mum. You owe me one.”

Suzzy (giggling): “And the karaoke night? Nana, your rendition of ‘I Will Always Love You’ is still legendary. The entire bar was in tears, though I’m not sure if they were laughing or genuinely moved.”

Nana (laughing and blushing slightly): “I’d like to believe they were deeply touched by my performance.”

Tony (smiling): “I still have that video somewhere.”

Suzzy (feigning shock): “Blackmail material! We should have a karaoke rematch soon.”

    Nana (nodding): “It’s a date.”

“The laughter and shared memories seem to bridge the gap between the trio, the weight of the past lifting slightly. The room is filled with a warmth that only old friends can evoke, reminding them of simpler times and the bond they once shared.”
